DucPac Ride Etiquette

This is not a group ride. This is not a street takeover. There is no tail gunner.

We’re trying to brew a different flavor of ride; one that tastes like summer morning coffee with friends and bench racing with other riders at lunch. We have so many riders and skill levels that it can get a bit hectic sometimes. Riding motos can be very intimidating when you’re new — having some clown rip by you at 100mph when you’re just trying to get comfortable sucks. We don’t like that. We don’t want that.

Ducati Pacifica picks a meetup location and a destination — on occasion an intermediate stop or two (gas and Slim Jims) — and a suggested route. The rest is your adventure to choose.

How it works:

• Check here for the upcoming meetup locations and the suggested route.
• Show up with a full tank of gas ready to ride.
• Find your people to ride with and make sure you can navigate to the destination.
• Don’t have someone to ride with? DucPac Members and Leadership are around to help.
• We recommend people sort themselves into groups of 5 or less, all comfortable riding a similar pace and willing to look out for each other.
• If you’re a newer rider, speak up! We’ll happily play matchmaker.
• Riders Meeting and Club announcements will happen just before the recommended Kickstands Up (KSU) time.
• Depart at your own pace and timing — DucPac leadership will not be leading out a wild pack of bikes and will generally depart last to bring up the rear. We might catch up to you, we might not.
• Respect the local communities. Don’t rev-bomb suburban coffee shops, get out of the way at gas stations, and don’t obstruct local traffic.
